VINIFICATION

Harvest : Manual for vignes older than 40 years, Machine for younger vines (manual sorting carried out in the cellar)
Vinification : Grapes de-stalked and pressed, Maceration for 20 days
Ageing : Matured in stainless steel tanks for one year

Beautiful robe, rich ruby colour
Generous, engaging nose with a complex aroma of candied black and red fruits on a delicate smoky liquorice base
Superb finish with a vigorous, captivating expression.


PREPARING AND SERVING   

La Croix de Mission is a perfect accompaniment to grilled or roast red meat, game and cheese

Serving temperature 13°C, preferably decanted several hours before drinking


CELLARING   

This wine is perfect to drink now but will develop beautifully over a period of 2 to 10 years
